The building is Nedou's Hotel, Lahore, Punjab (now in Pakistan) built in 1880. Here, it is providing a recreational centre for forces during WWII. Sadly, the building was knocked down after the war and a new hotel, The Avari, now stands on the site. Historical note: The Nedous Hotel was famous as a haunt of none other than Lawrence of Arabia.
