The memorial to those murdered during the second massacre at Cawnpore during the Great Mutiny in 1857. This monument was originally placed over the well in the Bibigarh in Cawnpore into which the bodies of the massacred were thrown by the rebels. After Independence, it was moved to the grounds of St. John's Cantonment Church. - Cawnpore Memorial
